ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, TAMIL CONGREGATION (PART-TIME)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Bulletin and announcement.
  2. Prepare slides for worship and songs with chords for musicians and singers.
  3. Prepare Holy Communion Table.
  4. Prepare Offertory Boxes for Sunday Service.
  5. Setup Zoom for Sunday Service and early morning prayers on first day of each month.
  6. Preparation for 1st Friday Fasting and Prayer and weekly Wednesday prayer.
  7. Prepare Payment Vouchers online for reimbursement by Finance.
  8. Room Bookings for use by Tamil Congregation.
  9. Translate English to Tamil and help to prepare flyers for distribution. Help in preparing Banner for church advertisement.
  10. Prepare Birthday and Anniversary Cards for posting.
  11. Admin support for Baptism and Confirmation.
  12. Assist Pastor in preparation of annual Budget.
  13. Inform Lay Readers and Worship Leaders of their service duty.
  14. Announcement of Wakes and Funerals in Bulletin.

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of Sunday service.
  • To assist the Pastor on Sundays if help is needed.
  • Assist in church wide events.

Our Requirements:

  • GCE “O” Level
  • Minimum of 3 years administrative experience
  • Strong spoke and written communication skill to collaborate with various ministries
  • Able to work well in a team as well as independently, and under tight time lines
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
